The idea that Wonder Woman can lie while tied or holding the Lasso of Truth just made the lasso useless and trivialize it. The Lasso of Truth was a constant in DC lore and mythology. In fact, the lasso is so powerful that when it was snapped, reality broke. Now, you're telling me that Wonder Woman could have been lying at any time she was holding the lasso. Makes the lasso useless.

I say this all the time there needs to be a set of rules that cannot be broken with both DC and Marvel. The rules help build the lore and mythology of the world. If the rules are broken there better be one hell of a reason for it to happen.

You wrote some good stuff. However, break it up into paragraphs. You created a huge wall of text. When people see it, it looks daunting to read which means many won't read it.

That's why movies should not dictate changes to the comics. If it wasn't for the comics Marvel would not have these characters and stories in the first place.

If the movies aren't going to follow the comics then let them be their own individual mediums.
