Not even sure what this is trying to say: presented in a universe where the original movies existed. What? As in the movies were cheesy little VHS cassettes you couldn't find at Blockbuster? Or the movies were real snuff films you couldn't rent at Blockbuster and the little disreputable place down the street usually wouldn't have it either? Or what? And does the new one have all the stupid body mutilation scenes? I'm just lame enough to be curious...

The only one that truly intrigued me is Gremlins, but TBH I never considered it horror. Same with Cloverfield Lane (thriller), and id be curious to see how that can be made interesting... Or not.
