I just watched the first episode last night and I was pleasantly surprised. I agree with this article, I put off watching this because the main lead seemed so boring because of her lack of emotions.

But in the first episode when she started crying for her friend after his ing it made me realize I had this girl all wrong.

She's got a lot going on under that numb face she just isn't good at expressing it.

I will continue watching it and hopefully it will reignite my love for anime, something that has been fading away for years now.

I have to agree especially when it comes to male characters.

Females have much more design choices, so even if they are bland their looks can carry them on and make them able. Male characters on the other hand mostly all look the same and in most part act the same.

I used to love this series back in my teens. But after watching it as an adult my feelings for it did a 180 shift. This series is just terrible and all the characters are terrible, especially shinji. The only redeeming grace this show has is the fight scenes.

I have Acheron and her lc and honestly I don't think she is very good at all. All my other teams out dps her so I just never used her.
