They could very easily incorporate both endings into the show. It's not like Hollywood hasn't done that before.
Remake Of Jeff Daniels & John Goodman's '90s Horror Comedy No Longer In Development Due To Creative Differences
Good. Arachnophobia is a classic and shouldn't be touched by anyone. It's good as is and doesn't need a reboot of any kind.

How To Train Your Dragon's Live-Action Astrid Casting Backlash Explained (& Why It's Ridiculous)
Yes, it is fiction. However, as every writer knows, it has to have some elements of truth in order to appeal to readers/watchers. Personally, I hate the argument "it's fiction, so it doesn't matter", because that is the writer/director/studio saying F- you and spitting in the face of the fans who are the target audience.
Personally, I'm still going to see it. The only issue i have with her casting is that she isn't blond lol, but the way her hair appears to be in the movie makes up for that.
However, there are other casting choices that I do have issues with when it comes to the rest of the dragon riders.
Casting, for a live action remake, the first thing they should look for is how closely they resemble their animated counterparts. Part of acting is to bring the character's personality to life. There are a lot of actors who can do this, so I refuse to believe that these were the only actors who could. I could be wrong, but that is my belief.

Greta Gerwig's Narnia Reboot Can Prove A Common Book Belief Wrong
I agree. She needs to stop putting feminism into all these adaptations that she's writing and directing. Sure, the Barbie movie wasn't that bad, but her feminist twist kept it from being what it could have been... and don't get me started on what the live action Snow White sounds like it's going to be. I definitely don't have high expectations for her version of the Narnia stories.
