I didn't care for Gladiator 2 at all. They shoehorned Denzel Washington to play....what his his character's name again...oh who cares, it was Denzel Washington playing Denzel Washington. There were far more special effects in the film, which I'm sure theatergoers ate up. It really didn't phase me either way as I'd watched it on the smaller screen. The overall story was just boring. Yes, I get that Scott was attempting to continue to include real life historical figures into the mix, but Jesus those Emperor twins of Tweedle Dom and Tweedle Dee were embarrassing to watch. And again, I know there's so much love for Washington, but he's no Joaquin Phoenix' Commodus. That bar was set far too high and highly doubt it could ever be matched.

Couldn't care less about Johnny Cage's character; hasn't he been in every MK movie since the very first one from 30 years ago?

I'd like to see Skarlet in a new MK movie. She's an interesting and above all UNIQUE character that manipulates blood to be used as weapons.

It's actually strange that the audience score gave it only an 87%. I guarantee you that there was a significant representation of Right-Winged review-bombers on there who just didn't like same-sex relationships. You know who you are.

The only thing to wonder is, if Abby and her friends had known about who Ellie was right from the start, would they have just left her alone like that or kidnapped her to see if another doctor could do the experiments for a cure?

Prometheus is still the only film in the franchise, outside of the first two, that I actually want to watch again and again. This includes the Alien 3, Resurrection, and the A. vs. P movies. It really the down-to-Earth performances of the cast, especially led by Noomi Rapace, that captivated me.

Its flaws aside, I would absolutely take it over any Alien movie since Aliens. And yes, that includes Romulus.

I feel slightly ashamed to realize now that AMH actually played the bully in Edward Scissorhands. I'd imagine he must've loved that role; considering he was routinely typecast in the 80s as the one who got bullied.

You itted to have never played the game. The bottom line is that Abby's murder of Joel in the game wasn't immediately spelled out for you. You didn't know who she was and above all WHY she was doing it. And this was after having built such a rapport with Joel that the notion of his character no longer being there wasn't even fathomable.

One step at a time. As of the last movie, the apes aren't the most intelligent beings on the planet yet. To the disappointment of many including myself, there were still pockets of people who could not only talk but had access to the latest technology and weapons.

How are most of the movies on her "bad streak" really her fault? WW '84 was just a bad movie because of a terrible story and bad script. But people still enjoy her character overall; hence why the original WW was her best to date.

How about instead of elaborating so much on what she was doing during the OT era (I thought that was already cleared up anyway in the Rebels show, suggesting she was stuck in the World Between Worlds), we actually get to see the important moment when she first meets Luke ON SCREEN? That's a big deal. I was very disappointed when the Mando/BOBF shows already suggested that she met Luke at some point off screen.

Yup that was the key regarding Shaw's story. You can't tell me that, all along, she was mean to be a one-hit-wonder in the franchise. Prometheus ended with a cliffhanger. And there's hardly a follow-up. Just David taking his revenge on those "Supreme Beings".

Haters always going to hate. IMO, Prometheus currently ranks third in the Alien franchise; after the first two films. To date, Elizabeth Shaw has been the closest, most relatable character in the entire franchise since Ellen Ripley; and you cannot change my mind on that. And I just feel like the film itself is more relatable overall; it doesn't have to carry that militaristic vibe that the other films do. I've seen it countless times, and have the video on Blu-Ray. It's the ONLY film in the franchise that I've seen more than once - outside of the first two films.

Yeah, I get it, people just don't like to "think" too much in the Alien films. Just show us the Xenomorphs and face-huggers, some acid corroding through the floor scenes. That's what the majority of the fans want to see. They don't care about the "why". Just the action and terror.

Haters always going to hate. Ahsoka is easily the most INTERESTING new character in the SW universe in probably the last two decades.

Her stories just need to follow a more linear path so they don't get so convoluted.

I'd love to see Hayley suiting up and reprising a more official role as Captain Carter in a live action format. That's really the only way you'll get me to into watching another Marvel movie on the big screen, to be honest with you.

I was duped into watching Multiverse of Madness. Just another convoluted borefest turned fanservice because the typical Marvel fanboy wants nothing more than to see Strange in all his glory every second on screen.

Carrie was already remade for modern audiences with Chloe Grace Moretz taking the lead role. Why does this need yet another remake?

But of course no one has to answer this question, it's rhetorical. Hollywood in general has lost its creativity, so remakes and sequels are what es through the producers' desks for approval these days.

I was deeply moved by the documentary for sure. If there was one thing that I thought it was missing, it was any archival interviews with Margot Kidder involving her Superman work with Christopher Reeve.
