I didn't care for Gladiator 2 at all. They shoehorned Denzel Washington to play....what his his character's name again...oh who cares, it was Denzel Washington playing Denzel Washington. There were far more special effects in the film, which I'm sure theatergoers ate up. It really didn't phase me either way as I'd watched it on the smaller screen. The overall story was just boring. Yes, I get that Scott was attempting to continue to include real life historical figures into the mix, but Jesus those Emperor twins of Tweedle Dom and Tweedle Dee were embarrassing to watch. And again, I know there's so much love for Washington, but he's no Joaquin Phoenix' Commodus. That bar was set far too high and highly doubt it could ever be matched.

Couldn't care less about Johnny Cage's character; hasn't he been in every MK movie since the very first one from 30 years ago?

I'd like to see Skarlet in a new MK movie. She's an interesting and above all UNIQUE character that manipulates blood to be used as weapons.

It's actually strange that the audience score gave it only an 87%. I guarantee you that there was a significant representation of Right-Winged review-bombers on there who just didn't like same-sex relationships. You know who you are.

The only thing to wonder is, if Abby and her friends had known about who Ellie was right from the start, would they have just left her alone like that or kidnapped her to see if another doctor could do the experiments for a cure?

Prometheus is still the only film in the franchise, outside of the first two, that I actually want to watch again and again. This includes the Alien 3, Resurrection, and the A. vs. P movies. It really the down-to-Earth performances of the cast, especially led by Noomi Rapace, that captivated me.

Its flaws aside, I would absolutely take it over any Alien movie since Aliens. And yes, that includes Romulus.
