It's come to this: The Simpsons Origin Stories. Who cares about where these characters came from and what motivated them. This is supposed to be a show that makes fun of family situations. Sorry that's Family Guy and American Dad.

The Simpsons needs to be done at season 40 of all they're going to work about are original of secondary characters.

Seasons 1 to 10 were the best The Simpsons were going to be and that's all.

Jon Kent had the opportunity to be something greater than he is. Already he represents a community underrepresented in mainstream continuity in DC and I want him to be the best character he can be, but others just want to keep track of the number of times Bat or Super is in characters names. SMH.

This reads like DC Comics editors are SCARED to make real, lasting, changes to Jon Kent. DC Editorial should have kept the HOPE shield but redesign the costume entirely. Then give Jon a more appropriate superhero name that gives him hope for success in the future but still honors his family. I'm all in for more originality in the characters because not every character related to Superman needs to have Super in the name.

Look at Dick Grayson: he's more successful now as Nightwing because his suit is original and as Nightwing, he is still part of the Bat family but he doesn't have Bat in his name.

Same goes with Red Hood.

Allegedly Joe Quesada did not believe that Spidey should be married or allowed to age so he contrived One More Day in which Peter traded away his marriage and potential child to the actual devil in exchange for Aunt May surviving and the world forgetting his identity as Spider-Man, thus creating Dead Horse Spider-Man.

Every Editor in Chief (after Quesada's departure) approved writers to continue to best the Dead Horse Spider-Man.

Writers have been ACTIVELY pitching storylines to Marvel Comics to continue to ruin Spider-Man/ Peter Parker.

All these storylines are available online and available to order from numerous comic book shops.

The Studio ruined everything the first time around by having it split into separate parts like Twilight did. If the story was that important then the movies would have been released in theaters. But that did not happen. There is no story left to tell. If you want story, read the series of books.
