Predator Movie Will Finally Do The Story The Franchise Has Been Avoiding For The Last 37 Years
A Pred sequel I believe can optimize it's true sequential potential if you get Dutch back for the 2nd and last time, then set the stage for future sequels on the right direction which should be identifiable with the continuity rooting from the orig Pred movie. Imho.
Incredible Superman Poster Showing David Corenswet's Man Of Steel In Action Goes Viral, James Gunn Responds
Now let's not get too carried away guys.
Just calm down.
It's live action, so a drawing can NEVER be an official poster!
Hold ur horses and be patient.
That time will come and we'll all see and enjoy it.
Beetlejuice Beetlejuice Means Tim Burton Has Finally Recovered From $1Bn Disappointment That Led To His Worst-Ever Decade
Most likely not.
Juice was an ESTABLISHED character and movie. Keaton was a more factor in this who was dearly missed by the public since the original which MOST people anticipated a sequel right after the it's success.
It still would've been a hit then although this timeline discrepancy may also have made it EVEN more successful.
Burton's projects have forever been branded by the public which is certainly no fault of his nor anyone else. At least the success it brought in the past was an accomplishment not many can claim.
Just like everything else, it does become stale after awhile, unless something established and has a 'tailor-made for fans' movie or character comes along to momentary break the stale way --- ■
Kevin Costner's Horizon Drama Shows How Much Worse Francis Ford Coppola's $13 Million Bomb Could Have Been
This is so well written especially regarding the nuisance and at times the super hypertension-causing in having to deal with "answering the notes of studio executives and a corporate marketing department" as "they understand the market and what audiences are looking for."
Horizon however, I still believe came in with a very bad timing as the general audience is not into this kind of "Americana Heritage" history movie.
But the "movie-taste" of the public [not necessarily in going to the movie theaters] changes from time to time. The target audience, although hoping for the widest scope, has only an immediate appeal to the older generation - the type who doesn't care too much to physically go to movie houses, so it may have a 2nd life in streaming.
If in the future, there would be a catalyst such as a significant event or something compelling for the nation to re-evaluate our heritage during that time period, it could trigger for institutions including the public schools, etc... to bookmark this movie as an educational must-see for history timeline and cultural merits.
Thank you --- ■
At Least Horizon 2 Won't Repeat The First Movie's Most Surprising Kevin Costner Mistake
Imho, Costner's HORIZON will eventually become a classic as school material for America Timeline history reference and in streaming platform.
First of all, those who can be interested with the theme are in the older generation side who are the type that doesn't go out much anymore to go to theaters.
It was just awful timing at present with overall climate in lack of public interest but as trends and social relevance changes and fluctuates, it will find it's mark.
Sony Asked Netflix To Buy Zachary Levi's Purple Crayon Movie But The Streamer Said No
Sorry but the movie was too kiddish and appeal is all-time low mostly due to timing. Levi's failed Shazam has a lot to blame as the public does not want to see the actor anytime soon.
I believe it's this combo that even Netflix did not even flinch with Sony's proposal.
In the fleeting world of the movie industry, TIMING may well just everything or most of the thing. A good example also is the supposedly Costner epic Horizon. 🤷♂
10 Reasons Joker: Folie a Deux's Box Office Is Such A Disaster
Hi. In all honesty and with all due respect, I can only see One and ONLY (1) Reason for this Joker sequel was a failure in all aspects.
Only Reason: GREED.
There was no reason to do a sequel (which actually voided and erased the main juice about the main character of the first one since now emerge the Real One (?) in the ending part(?)
***The first one was an "accidental phenomena" as far as worlwide revenue returns is concerned.
It shouldn't have been touched anymore. Maybe deal with another interesting villain like the Riddler for example.
The 2 was obviously a cash cow. And although there are hardcore fans, it will never be enough to even just stay close UNDER the first revenues.
That phenomena should've been felt by the investors behind this but of course, "for a lack of a better word" - GREED is so intoxicating.
Well, here's your cash cow. More like a trashcow to me.
I'll never care to see this movie as I want the original to be the first AND last, establishing something reasonable and giving justice to this enigmatic character.
Thanks for reading.
Why did Harold and the Purple Crayon flop?
This just proved that the 1955 children's picture book has faded in popularity since most fans from that generation has ed and not enough recent exposure to stir some excitement for the kidos, just before the movie came out.
The nail in the coffin will be showing it against the monster Inside Out 2. Worst timing of all.
A Fall vs. a Summer screening would've given it a better chance.
Is Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom good casting?
Nope.
We all know how capable RDJ is no matter what role he's in.
Dude was superbly established as TS/IM already.
Is Hollywood lacking in excellent actors to play that villain role anymore!?! 🤷♂
Will Zachary Levi's Shazam return in the DCU after James Gunn's recent canon comments?
Nope.
Not for the immediate future.
Need to see how successful Supe movie will be first.
A lot at stake here and will have a trickle effect either way.
I’m Convinced David Corenswet Could Become The Best Live-Action Superman Ever
While Reeve will always be the gold standard, there is an unprecedented big possibility if everything connects flawlessly with this new one, it may either come as closest to Reeve than anyone else for the older school, BUT could well be the new standard for the new millennium.
The point being, the parallel could be so real, that in fairness to the new gen, they don't have much to relate to Reeve (unlike those who were there to experience that explosion in the late 70's to early 80's) but definitely IN THE NOW with Gunn's version.
Interesting to see...
