David Lynch's Dune was a masterpiece of filmmaking. The movie boast several techniques that were break throughs at the time. sub titles had been used before but the use of thoughts being presented as dialogue was cutting edge. But the best part was the Worms. that there was no CG effects available back then. I personally liked those better than the ones today.

I really like this show. Jeremy Renner is one of my favorite actors and he nails the character every week. What I really like is the way the show captures the feel of the old 70s gangster films. Movies like Bullit and Dirty Harry where the good guys are just as flawed as the bad ones. The show is gritty the way I like gritty and violent in a realistic way. It's good adult action that shocking and doesn't hold punches.
