Tajikats Shrine is one of many Link can find exploring in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, but its puzzles are far more ambiguous than others for players to solve. Shrines oftentimes challenge players on their mastery of Link's abilities. However, getting through the seemingly simple obstacles in Tajikats Shrine requires an understanding of how object physics work in the game, rather than just using an ability to solve problems.

Players looking for Tajikats Shrine will be able to find it to the east of Hyrule Field, close to a region called Whistling Hill. For exact coordinates, players can find this Shrine at (0344, -1007, 0016), a place that's easy to access without any climbing or crossing through too much danger. Much like other Shrines in the game, there are no enemies within the Shrine itself, giving players a chance to solve puzzles without the added pressure of a fight.

Building with Logs Shrine Guide

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Tajikats Shrine Second Building with Logs Puzzle

The Building with Logs challenge of Tajikats Shrine demands players use Link's Ultrahand ability to move large, cylinder wooden posts into different positions to reach the next areas. As players enter the Shrine, they will see a log next to a ledge with multiple indents they must work their way up to. Using Ultrahand to place the to one of the indents, prevents the object from moving around as they climb it to reach the upper area.

Players will need to use the Ultrahand ability throughout Tajikats Shrine to create platforms across gaps, get across bodies of water, and overcome other puzzles by building with logs.

The following section has two logs that players must use to go across a gap in between two roof-like platforms that stand above a body of water. This one can be tricky, since one log on its own is not long enough to reach as a bridge to the gap. Players will need to fuse all three logs together to form a path forward, while making sure none of them roll off either roof slope into the water below.

There are many solutions to this puzzle, but the one that might work best is to fuse two logs to face outward from a third, and not to make one massive log. The structure built looks more like a capital "E" without the middle extension. The base of this makeshift bridge prevents the other two logs from rolling into the water when placed on the edge of the first roof, giving players just enough space to travel across.

How to Solve the Third Building Logs Puzzle

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Tajikats Shrine Third Puzzle Solution with Building Logs

A small body of water blocks the player's next path, but it is easily crossed when players pull over the same log fusion from before. Thankfully, Ultrahand has a large range when compared to Link's new abilities in Tears of the Kingdom, so players should have no trouble pulling the object over. Before moving on to the third puzzle, players must to take the other two logs lying around past the small body of water before going across themselves.

The most vague section of the Shrine resides here, where players have to use any amount of logs to build a structure that gets them to the ledge above a larger section of water. There are four more logs here that bring the player's total amount to nine, giving them plenty of materials to work with. Much like the previous section, there are multiple ways to accomplish this task, with only the player's creativity being the limit.

One possible solution would be to add two log extensions to the ends of the bridge used to get through the second puzzle, then placing it so that its base leans up against the wall at the other end of the water. Making a longer pole out of two fused logs lets players rest the pole on the bridge base at an angle that creates a path toward the ledge. Swimming over to the pole gives players a chance to climb it up to the final area.

How to Solve the Fourth Building Logs Puzzle

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Link on a Raft in Tajikats Shrine Heading Toward the End

The end of the Shrine can be seen when players reach the ledge, unfortunately, it sits at the other end of a small lake that players need to cross. While none of the logs from the previous puzzles may be brought here, there are still plenty of logs available in a small pile to the right. Players must create a raft using the logs and the two fans that are also found in this area.

Players familiar with the "A Windy Device" puzzle from Ishodag Shrine in Tears of the Kingdom would that fans create gusts of wind when hit by Link. Depending on what direction the fans are facing, players can use this system to propel whatever raft they make across the water. While there is no "right" raft design, players are recommended to build one at least four logs wide for enough room to attach both fans.

Rewards from Solving Tajikats Shrine

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Spiky Shield Found in Chest from Tajikats Shrine

Once players have this raft built, they are able to use Ultrahand to place it into the water, hit the fans, and reach the other side where an altar sits. However, traveling across reveals a platform on the left with a chest nearby. By pointing the raft towards this platform and traveling here before activating the altar, players can collect a Spiky Shield that grants 2 Armor and protects Links against lighter attacks.

The main reward from the Shrine comes from the altar after players travel back from the chest's platform, seen through an item called a Light of Blessing. Trading in four Light of Blessings lets players collect more hearts or stamina in Tears of the Kingdom, improving their ability to survive in dangerous areas found later in the game.

While Tajikats Shrine may be one of the earlier Shrines found in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, it could be considered far more difficult than others, making the rewards feel even better as players learn to solve each of its puzzles.
