An Omega-level mutant, or a mutant whose mastery over their specific power has no definable limit that can be sured by anyone other than themselves, Storm’s weather-based abilities are a force to be reckoned no matter how she chooses to wield them. Capable of unleashing hell at a moment’s notice, Storm can use her powers to conjure debilitating lightning storms, high winds, flood waters, climate-altering weather pattern changes, and more, with Storm’s wardrobe of iconic costumes — like her punk-rock look, all-white shoulder-padded suit, and recent “Brutal Storm” design — adding some style to her role as a leader of the X-Men.

Though Storm has already had a pair of live-action portrayals in X-Men’s Halle Berry and X-Men: Apocalypse’s Alexandra Shipp, neither has come close to fully capturing the comic-accurate look or feel of this iconic mutant hero, leaving cosplay talents like Shaya (@theshayaverse) to do the hard work of crafting a real-world design that does Storm’s character justice while acting as inspiration for her next big screen appearance. The X-Men will arrive in the MCU soon enough, so here’s hoping that when Storm makes her inevitable debut onscreen, she arrives wielding her Omega-level powers while wearing this awesome Omega-level costume too.
