Penta entering the ring
  • CM Punk starts the show with a promo and says that, while he's mad at so many people, he's mostly mad at himself. He says it's not the first time Paul Heyman has stabbed him in the back, but he thought they'd moved past it. Paul Heyman interrupts Punk's promo and demands an explanation, but is then ed by Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker. Rollins tells Punk that it's impossible to hate him anymore than he already does and that he cost him the World Heavyweight Championship last week, and Punk tells him he'll never be champion again as long as he's on two feet. Breakker is dispatched to the ring and attacks Punk, leading to him fighting back against him and Rollins. Sami Zayn appears and tries to help dispatch them before he's beaten out of the ring. Jey Uso appears to even the odds out and the scramble is broken up.
  • After the announcement of the tag team match against Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker at Saturday Night's Main Event, CM Punk and Sami Zayn are backstage talking about being able to trust one another. Punk says he's having a hard time trusting anyone, and that Zayn knows what it was like to work on trusting him. He asks him to trust him and they can both meet their goals after Rollins and Breakker are out of the way.
  • Rollins and Breakker are seen backstage, and Rollins reassures Breakker that everything will work out. As Rollins leaves, he whispers to Breakker the one thing he wants him to do, and tells him to "have fun" doing it.
  • Jey Uso comes to the ring and cuts a promo on Logan Paul until he's interrupted by Gunther. Gunther announces that, after his match at Saturday Night's Main Event, whoever wins will face Gunther on Raw. Gunther tells him if he does win, he'll put him in his place. Uso tells him his place is with the World Heavyweight Championship.
  • During the Ludwig Kaiser segment backstage, a pipe is heard hitting the ground, and the camera pans to Bron Breakker standing over a beaten Jey Uso. Backstage personnel appear to assist, as do Sami Zayn and CM Punk.

CM Punk Is Back With A Vengeance

Ready To Keep Seth Rollins Out Of The Title Picture

With a return last week to Monday Night Raw, CM Punk gave another stellar promo, one that was reminiscent of what made Punk the greatest on the mic. As announced during tonight's broadcast, his next match will be tagging with Sami Zayn against Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker at the Saturday Night's Main Event.

Punk, when let off the chain, is one of the absolute best to ever do it on the microphone, and tonight was another prime example of why he's at his best, restriction-free and on Netflix. If the next build is to John Cena and the WWE Championship, here's hoping we get those promo battles on Netflix and away from the USA Network censors.

Penta Continues To Impress In WWE

Another Banger In The Ring With Chad Gable

Consistently, Penta proves to be one of the best in-ring workers on the entire WWE roster, and showed again tonight why he factors into the long-term creative plans for WWE. With continuous impressive showings, it's impossible not to see him taking the Intercontinental Championship off of Dominik Mysterio at some point soon.

The acquisition of AAA is a big deal for both companies, with multiple opportunities for some amazing crossover matches, especially with Penta as the IC Champion. It wasn't on our bingo card to see El Hijo del Vikingo and Rey Fenix in a WWE ring thuis year, and at WrestleMania nonetheless, but it would be a spectacle and a half to see Penta and Vikingo battle for the worker's title as soon as humanly possible.

Giulia's Main Roster Debut Match Was As Impressive As Expected

The Unquestionable Future Of The WWE Women's Division

Considered one of the best women's wrestlers in the world, Giulia made her main roster debut in tonight's main event, tagging with Roxanne Perez against Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY. Technically sound and standing tough against both Ripley and SKY, Giulia put on an impressive debut, even with taking the pin at the end of the match.

A decorated champion from her time in Japan, including holding the World of Stardom and the Strong Women's Championships, as well as being fresh off her NXT Women's Championship reign, Giulia will be an easy fit into the women's division. However, the dynamic and idea of her feuding with Ripley is also an exciting prospect, as she proved she could hold her own against The Eradicator, especially if she were to defeat SKY for the Women's World Championship.
