Wolf Pack season 2 gets another update from star Sarah Michelle Gellar after its cliffhanger finale. Paramount+'s Wolf Pack follows teenagers Everett Lang (Armani Jackson) and Blake Navarro (Bella Shepard) who are bitten by a werewolf during a California forest fire. Gellar stars as arson investigator Kristin Ramsey, whose real identity was revealed during the season 1 finale. Kristin, undercover investigating the cause of the fires, is actually the mother of high school seniors and werewolves Luna (Chloe Rose Robertson) and Harlan (Tyler Lawrence Gray) Briggs, along with the creature that's been terrorizing the town, Baron (Chase Liefeld).

While Gellar previously hinted at the possibility of a Wolf Pack season 2, her latest update to Variety offers a promising future for the series. Although Gellar's update is brief, she promises discussions are beginning to happen for season Wolf Pack season 2, saying, “the conversations are happening.”

What To Expect From Wolf Pack Season 2

The characters of Wolf Pack gathered around something shocking

As the Wolf Pack season 1 finale concluded on a massive cliffhanger, season 2 will need to address unanswered questions about its characters. Whether Kristin is good or evil will need to be explored, as she's treaded the line between the two all season 1. She clearly wants what's best for her cubs Luna, Harlan, and Baron, and she's willing to kill real people to save them. However, her idea of starting a pack to save Baron's fate will reveal whether she is a true antagonist. It's difficult to tell the implications of turning humans into supernatural creatures, and season 2 will likely explore the prospect of whether it is a good or bad idea.

Tying into Kristin's desire to start a wolf family, Wolf Pack season 2 could focus on Baron, bringing him to the forefront. Although he is the season 1 villain, season 2 could investigate how he came to be, and possibly redeem his dark, terrifying nature. Season 2 could shed light on his backstory, the dynamics between him and his mother Kristin, and how that's impacted who he is now. Also, as Baron's powers are directly tied to newly bitten werewolves Everett and Blake, whose strength and speed draw from him, season 2 will need to address how their relationship with him can survive if he remains a threat.

However, the most urgent question to be answered if there is a Wolf Pack season 2 is whether Garrett (Rodrigo Santoro), Harlan and Luna's adoptive father, will agree to the pack. While he is weary of the prospect, Kristin's true motives will be revealed if he says no, as Baron could ultimately force him. With his fate hanging in the balance of season 2, hopefully, confirmation that Wolf Pack will return is soon to come.
