Geralt's main goals in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt are slaying monsters and helping Ciri - but despite the significance of his quests, he often finds himself distracted by some of the special women he meets along the way. Historically, the Witcher games have never shied away from mature themes of any kind, and so sexually suggestive scenes have almost become an iconic part of the experience for many fans of the series. Witcher 3 doesn't make itself an exception by any means, as there are several ladies that the Butcher of Blaviken can have intimate relations with throughout the game.
Apart from the characters listed below, Geralt can always make his way to one of the game's three brothels: iflora, Crippled Kate's, or The Belles of Beauclair. Depending on the location, a night with one of these women will cost him between 20 and 40 crowns. Players will want to avoid taking Ciri to brothels in Witcher 3, but Geralt is free to visit them as he pleases, as they will not affect his relationship with any of Witcher 3's seven romance options below.
Witcher 3's Yennefer Is Geralt's Canonical Lover
Being Geralt's true love in the books, Yennefer is a well-liked character of the series, and many fans were excited to see her in Witcher 3. Romantic tension between the two begins immediately, as the opening sequence shows the two flirting and presumably recovering from the night before. Yen then disappears for a while, but as always, the lovers find their way back to each other in the end. Geralt can sleep with Yen during both "The King is Dead - Long Live the King" and "No Place Like Home" quests, but he also has the option to commit to a serious relationship with her (provided he plays his cards right).
Geralt Can Choose Triss In Witcher 3
Though there are pros and cons of choosing Witcher 3's Triss, many who have played the previous installments of the Witcher series may be more inclined to pursue the red-headed sorceress. The relationship between Geralt and Triss is considerably more stable than that with Yennefer, and her bubbly personality can provide much-needed breaks from the otherwise dark themes of the game.
Should players prefer Triss, they can commit to a long-term relationship with her instead (although this will nullify the witcher's chances with Yen, of course). Romantic scenes involving Triss can be experienced during both the "A Matter of Life and Death" and "Now or Never" quests.
Keira Metz Can Seduce Witcher 3's Geralt
Keira is one of the first side characters that the Butcher of Blaviken will be able to have a casual fling with. This sorceress is a former advisor to King Foltest and a long-lost friend of Geralt's, and although they remain largely professional at first, players will eventually get the chance to romance Keira Metz in Witcher 3. After completing several fetch quests for the reluctant witch of Midcopse, she will develop a liking for him and invite him to a magical, moonlit dinner. By the end of the encounter, Geralt is left unsure of what her true intentions were - but he seems content with his actions nonetheless.
Witcher 3's Sasha Can Be Romanced
Sasha, whose real name is Carthia van Canten, is a Nilfgaardian spy that Geralt can encounter in iflora. She doesn't work for the high-profile brothel. Instead, she is found participating in a Gwent tournament under her cover name, attempting to make some money to fund a journey back to Nilfgaard.
In order to woo Madame Sasha, Geralt must participate in the competition. He'll either need to win the tournament - which can be accomplished by avoiding the worst Gwent cards in Witcher 3 - or otherwise simply agree to help her in the "High Stakes" quest. After dealing with a slight complication, she'll invite Geralt to dinner, and the rest is history.
Geralt Can Impress Jutta In Witcher 3
Similarly, Geralt will need to impress Jutta to spend a romantic night with her in Witcher 3. Players will meet the powerful warrior, otherwise known as the Iron Maiden, in Skellige during the aptly named "Iron Maiden" quest. The devoted fighter will challenge Geralt to a duel after he completes a preliminary task proving his worth. If he defeats her, she will be impressed and invite the witcher to her home that evening. There, she reveals that she vowed to Freya, the goddess of fertility, to have children with the first man who bested her in combat. Geralt jokes that despite his sterility, he can partly help her keep her promise.
Shani Is A Nostalgic Romance For Witcher 3's Geralt
Shani will reappear in the open-world remake of Witcher 1, being one of the main love interests of the original game. But those who own the Hearts of Stone expansion can reunite with her in Witcher 3, as well. Geralt can run into the Redanian medic in the sewers beneath Oxenfurt, to both characters' surprise - but the two will quickly catch up to where they last left off. During the "Dead Man's Party" quest, the witcher has the opportunity give Shani a gift, and this opens up the opportunity for the two to become intimate during the "A Midnight Clear" quest (which can end in a several, unique ways).
Geralt Can Become Intimate With Sylvia In Witcher 3
Players who have the Blood and Wine DLC can become romantically involved with Sylvia Anna, otherwise known as Syanna. A former Nilfgaardian princess, she was affected by the Curse of the Black Sun, and was thus mistreated during her childhood. While in Toussaint (which harbors a Witcher 3 armor set worth getting), Geralt can stumble across Sylvia and discover her planning a violent revenge plot. If he agrees to help her sort things out, the two can share an unforgettable moment together during the "Beyond Hill and Dale" quest.
Geralt can prove to be quite the ladies' man, provided that players make the right dialogue options and complete the correct quests. Depending on his actions, the witcher can settle down and have a happy ending with either Yennefer or Triss at the conclusion of the game. So while ultimately, one woman will capture his heart forever, Geralt still seems to enjoy exploring his options with the above romance characters in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
