Since its launch, Toy Story series. Because Disney acquired Marvel Studios and Fox, this also meant that subscribers would find that their favorite MCU films were migrating over to Disney+.

However, Disney+ has not been without its controversies. This includes criticism about their content, with this year's Star Wars series The Acolyte being a particularly egregious example of the fan base being disappointed with the direction that Disney was taking the franchise. The streamer also stirred headlines by removing certain titles from its platform. Our Take On Willow's Disney+ Removal

This Is Fatal For A Streaming Series

Warwick Davis in Willow season 1 finale

Davis makes a great point when mentioning the unfair treatment that Willow got by its company. Though the series may not have gotten enough viewers to warrant a season renewal, there is an avid fan base for the series. The series was a Disney+ original, which means that there is no other platform for viewers to watch it at this time. It also doesn't appear that Disney will make any licensing deal with a third party to allow this opportunity to happen. Effectively, this is a digital erasure of Willow, a phenomenon that has become a big threat to series in the age of streaming.
