Will Trent Season 3, Episode 11 Big Death Explained
Will Accidentally Shoots A Young Teenager
Will Trent season 3, episode 11 is told in a series of flashbacks, with Will preparing for an interrogation in the present. As the audience discovers throughout the hour, Will was chasing a wanted parolee through an apartment building when the man pulled a gun on him. The GBI agent had previously split up with Faith to cover more ground. So, she wasn't around for the accident. Will believed he heard the criminal shooting at him (in reality, the loud sound came from someone slamming a door shut) and returned fire, hitting the man and a 14-year-old boy.
The young teenager died in Will's arms, utterly wrecking the Will Trent main character.
One of the bullets from Will's gun ricocheted and entered the apartment behind the parolee, striking the kid in his chest. Will and Faith tried to rush him to the hospital, but traffic slowed them down. The young teenager died in Will's arms, utterly wrecking the Will Trent main character. It was an accident, of course. However, the nature of the incident means that Will has to be thoroughly questioned about what exactly had happened, especially when the police can't recover the suspect's gun. Thankfully, Will has Angie on his side, who is key to proving his innocence.
