So far, the Ratliff family has proven themselves beyond dysfunctional and, particularly, Jaclyn sleeps with Valentin in The White Lotus episode 5. Though Lisa's Mook has not played as big a role in the HBO series this season as some of these more dramatic characters, she still has a lot of interesting scenes, including the dance scene in episode 5 that arguably should have gotten even more attention.

While The White Lotus may be her acting debut, Lisa is still among the most famous cast of the show thanks to her career as a member of Blackpink. The girl group has been around since 2016, with her experience singing and dancing in Blackpink earning her both lots of fame and set her up perfectly to have a dance scene in season 3 of The White Lotus. While her performance is mentioned in earlier episodes, audiences finally get to see Mook perform in episode 5.

Audiences can only catch glimpses of Lisa's dance around 13 minutes into the episode, but the performers are overshadowed by Gaitok and Timothy's panic during those same scenes.

The Party Scenes Get Much More Attention

Interestingly, The White Lotus season 3, episode 5 actually has several dance scenes. Apart from Mook's scene, which takes place at the hotel, the episode also shows Laurie, Jaclyn, and Kate dancing in a club and Chloe, Chelsea, Saxon, and Lochlan partying under the full moon. In contrast to the party scenes, Lisa's dancing actually gets the least attention. While it is disappointing that her skills and the more traditional type of performance that she was doing were overshadowed by the drama of the guests, that is also sort of the point.

In contrast to the guests who are getting wilder and wilder, Mook has been a very wholesome character so far, and the differences in the dance scenes are a reminder of that. At the end of the day, the guests are there to let loose and be entertained while she is there to do her job. So, though, as a viewer, it would have been nice to watch Lisa's dance more fully, the best part of The White Lotus is still its drama and ability to contrast beautiful moments with the increasing turmoil of the hotel's guests.
