The employees of Cloud 9 have found themselves in more than one life-or-death situation throughout the show's run. It's not an average retail store, and the workers often find themselves in competition with one another — and it's not unheard of for things to get physical. The Superstore characters all have their strengths and weaknesses and it helps to make the ensemble even more diverse.

If the workers were forced to participate in Their intelligence and abilities factor in, as well as their political stances. Out of all the employees of Cloud 9, there are quite a few who would be pretty fierce competitors.

Jonah

Jonah Simms gives a speech to the Cloud 9 customers.

Right off the bat, Jonah's political views would prevent him from winning the Hunger Games because he would refuse to fight. Jonah is a pacifist, and he even struggled to punch Mateo when it could have saved him from being deported. He'd end up giving a long speech about why everyone should refuse to fight and stand up against the Capitol, and while it would be inspiring, no one ever seems to listen to what Jonah has to say. He's much too pure for the bloodbath and would likely be killed while trying to talk everyone down.

Marcus

Marcus White sings with a smile on his face in Superstore

The only thing Marcus has on his side is that he'd give the games the good ole college try. He'd probably make it into the forest after the horn went off, and he might even be able to fend off his competitors for a stretch. However, he'd ultimately end up dying from eating poisonous berries or drinking contaminated water. Marcus eats a lot of disgusting things when there's a whole store of fresh products available, so it's hard to imagine that he'd be particularly careful with his limited options. He's also codependent and always looking for a friend, and he could easily end up trusting the wrong people.

Glenn

Glenn and Dina prepare a celebration

Due to his faith and his comion, participating in the Hunger Games would be Glenn's worst nightmare. Rather than being reaped, he probably would volunteer to go in someone else's place. He's not a killer, but if someone attacked him he'd fight back.

When he's stressed out, Glenn becomes feral at the flip of a switch. During particularly hectic days at Cloud 9, he's gone off on the employees in a blind rage. It's proof that if the situation calls for it, Glenn can bring out the claws.

Cheyenne

Cheyenne Lee in the Cloud 9 break room in Superstore.

Cheyenne's good at picking up on other people's vibes, so she'd know who to align with. She's sweet, but she's also someone that no one wants to mess with. Although she has it in her, Cheynne probably wouldn't win because of how bored she would get. She can't go long without being on her cellphone or having some kind of access to social media, and it would be torture for her to be in the Hunger Games and unable to tweet about it.

Garrett

Garrett looking bored in Superstore.

Garrett's great at winning videogames, but the Hunger Games is a bit of a different situation. However, Garrett probably wouldn't have too much difficulty staying alive, as he'd just wait everyone out. Doing nothing is his favorite past-time, so he'd find a cave to hang out in while everyone else fights to the death. Plus, after all the money Garrett would win as the victor, he'd never have to work at Cloud 9 again. Talk about a win-win.

Sandra

Sandra Kaluiokalani in Superstore

Sandra is dangerous because of the soft persona she presents. At the beginning of the series, she was portrayed as someone who was shy and quiet, but as soon as she decided to stop letting people walk all over her, she was a force to be reckoned with.

After Carol steals Sandra's boyfriend and goes out of her way to make Sandra's life miserable, Sandra locks her out in the middle of a tornado and leaves her to die. Carol survives, but Sandra its to spending her weekends plotting Carol's murder. Sandra is the definition of a snake and the other competitors would be smart to keep her on their radar.

Amy

Amy quits her job when she finds out Zephra is closing Cloud 9.

Amy is one of the most intelligent characters in the store, and as she's proven throughout the series, she can take care of herself. She's a natural-born leader, but her independence makes it hard for her to let others in. She'd most likely be scouring the arena solo, which is in her best interest. Amy is a very kind and nurturing character, and she'd grow protective over her allies, especially if they were kids. As a mother, Amy wouldn't be able to hurt a child, so she'd be better off doing her own thing.

Carol

Carol would love to be in the Hunger Games because it would give her a chance to be the center of attention. She usually doesn't care if the attention is good or bad as long as all eyes on her. Shel would enjoy the weeks leading up to the arena and the special treatment she would receive from everyone in the Capitol. She's always been cut-throat, and she has no problem hurting people, physically or emotionally. All the workers in Cloud 9 are scared of Carol, and it's likely that the competitors would fear her too.

Mateo

Mateo looking confused in Superstore

Mateo itted that he doesn't trust himself with weapons because he would like killing way too much. That quote alone makes him one of the top contenders. While many of the other characters would suffer because their emotions would get in the way, Mateo seems like he might have a fun time in the arena. He's never cared about other people's feelings, and odds are, he wouldn't start now. No matter how close he is to a person, Mateo always puts his best interests above everyone else's.

Dina

Dina Fox in Superstore

When it comes down to it, there's one Cloud 9 employee that stands out above the rest. Dina spends her days training for everything and anything that could go wrong in the store. She seemed more excited than scared during the "robbery" that went down in the pilot, and she's never one to back away from a fight. She knows how to use weapons, she's strong physically and emotionally, and it's likely that she'd be the victor that everyone would steer clear of.
