One of the rarest outfits in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is your reward for finding all three pieces of Misko's Treasure, scattered chests that contain powerful armor pieces players can find to fight Hyrule's greatest threats. Having multiple side quests that lead players to locations around the map, this treasure comes from a story about a legendary bandit, which Link gradually unravels as he finds each new piece of treasure. Although not a complete armor set, each treasure has a different purpose that players could find helpful.

A person wearing a blue mushroom hat named Meeshy gives players the quests related to Misko's Treasure, but only when players talk to her somewhere around the wilds of Hyrule. Personally, I ran into her at the Great Tabantha Stable, but you might also find her by the Hyrule Garrison Ruins. Most of the time, Meeshy wanders within Hyrule Field, traveling outside Kakariko Village to even deep into the landscapes of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom's Central Hyrule. Wherever you find her, a brief conversation marks all three of Misko's Treasures on your map, with slight hints about where to find each piece of treasure.

How to Find the Powerful Outfit in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

Powerful Outfit Location

One of Misko's treasures is said by Meeshy to "fill the wearer with power," which refers to the Barbarian Armor chest piece in Tears of the Kingdom. The "X" marks a spot on the map where players must travel to get this treasure, set at about the (0477, 0723, 0041) coordinates. The location here is in the southwest of Crenel Hills and takes players into Crenel Hills Cave within the larger Hyrule Field.

Players will need to use Bomb Flowers on Luminous Rocks within Crenel Hills Cave to retrieve the first of Misko's treasures, the Barbarian Armor chest piece.

The cave starts with a path leading into a large area covered in Luminous Rock, which players must destroy using Bomb Flowers to reach the treasure. Turning left on the opening path and going to the middle of the room shows the biggest collection of glowing rocks on the cave wall. Using a Bomb Flower as fuse material in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom onto a weapon helps annihilate this mass, opening up a secret tunnel.

Unfortunately, any explosions caused by Bomb Flowers in this area will agitate a deadly foe called a Stone Talus. A frightening mini-boss, players should climb into the tunnel quickly to avoid this enemy for now, going down the hidden path until they reach a small building with a chest. This chest contains the Barbarian Armor, which has 3 Armor and gives Link a boost to attack damage, which should help fight the Talus on the way out.

Whenever you decide to engage the Talus, you'll be in for a tough boss fight - even though these enemie are much easier to beat in TOTK than they were in Breath of the Wild. Get beneath the Talus and use the Ascend ability to rise immediately to perch atop it. As always, whack at the large mineral deposit growing out of its back - heavy blunt weapons, like hammers, are best here - as much as possible before you're thrown off. Rinse and repeat until it's dead.

How to Find The Climbing Outfit in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

Meeshy also mentions that one of Misko's treasures can "let you quickly climb cliffs," referring to the Climbing Gear in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Once again, just the chest piece, this armor gives Link a faster climbing speed, making it incredibly useful for exploration. Players can track down this treasure by going to North Hyrule Plain Cave at the coordinates (-1188, 0646, 0072).

Enemies called Like Likes are found within North Hyrule Plain Cave, which must be beaten by attacking the orbs on the creatures that are exposed occasionally.

The Ascend ability from Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom comes in handy in this cave, as players must swim up from under a rock ledge near a waterfall on the path from where they first enter. A couple of enemies called Like Likes appear very early on in the cave, so players have to defeat these foes to continue further. Once they've been dealt with, take the ascending path along the water until the largest waterfall can be seen on the left.

Link has to go through the larger waterfall to reveal a hidden path leading deeper into the cave. A small patch of the Brightcap Material from Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom should be visible immediately after players cross into this space, as well as another outpost building that looks the same as the one found in Crenel Hills Cave. Opening the chest inside the building gives players the Climbing Gear with the Climb Speed Up buff and 3 Armor.

The final piece of Misko's treasure in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is the Rubber Armor , described by Meeshy to "keep you safe in lightning." Found within Whistling Hill Cave at coordinates (-0065, -1053, 0019), this armor shouldn't surprise players as being yet another chest piece to fit into the "outfits" theme of these treasures.

Entering the cave here can be tricky, though, since players might need to have completed the "Yunobo of Goron City" quest to have Yunobo break the cracked rocks blocking off the area. While Bomb Flowers or a fused weapon could do the job, Yunobo guarantees the rocks breaking without using resources or threatening weapon durability in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

How To Reach The Rubber Armor in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

While there are a couple of enemies to defeat in the cave, players will have little issues traveling inside until they go toward a patch of vines on the right that can be cut with any weapon. The path here drops into a few more enemies, then into a tunnel. Finally, on the left side, players will see a ledge that they can use the Ascend ability in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom to travel through before a hidden path guarded by an enemy who shoots rocks.

Another pile of cracked rocks along the way is easily destroyed using a Bomb Flower in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom located in the same room before revealing an arena with several puddles and an enemy that fires lightning. Again, players need to be careful not to get in the water when electricity hits the puddles and defeat the enemy by shooting the exposed orb to stun it. Another set of cracked rocks above the creature leads to a final secret tunnel.

The chest at the building just ahead gives players the Gleeoks in Tears of the Kingdom.

However, most players will perhaps use it more often to avoid getting struck by lightning during storms. This allows them to wield any weapon they like - even metal ones - without fear of dropping them and losing all their hearts with a shock. It has a decent armor rating, too, about as good as any non-metal armor would provide.

While you may find other Misko's Treasure quests as you travel around Hyrule, the bulk of them are found during this one questline. Completing these all will grant you some of the best and most unique armor pieces in the game. Even though they're not a set unto themselves, they can be combined with all sorts of armor in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom for a wide variety of benefits.
