FX's Taika Waititi, the FX series follows the trials and tribulations of three vampires living together in modern-day Staten Island, New York. With its mockumentary-style approach, What We Do In The Shadows takes horror comedy to the next level.
What We Do In The Shadows features quite a cast of both human and supernatural characters. Whether they're ancient bloodsuckers, werewolves, or even vampire hunters, they all have a spot on the astrological sun sign chart. Guillermo is Nandor's dedicated familiar. A human, Guillermo does all of his vampire's bidding, from cleaning to shopping to finding humans for his master to feed on. Lured in by the promise of becoming a vampire himself one day, Guillermo remains loyal to Nandor.
Tauruses like Guillermo are dependent, strong-willed, and practical. These Earth signs are represented by the bull. Grounded and determined at their best, Tauruses can be hot-headed and impatient at their worst.
Gemini - Nandor
Nandor the Relentless is over 700 years old. Once an Iranian soldier for the Ottoman Empire, Nandor is now the self-appointed leader of his vampiric household.
Easily bored and very curious, Nandor is the consummate Gemini. These Air signs are constantly snooping, desirous of new information, conversations, and experiences. Geminis have a tendency to get themselves in trouble, though, with their thirst for all the juicy details.
Cancer - Jeff
Jeff Suckler is the modern-day incarnation of vampire Nadja's former lover, Gregor the Knight. Over the centuries, Gregor's spirit inhabits the body of various men in hopes of winning Nadja over again.
Only a Cancer would follow his or her love throughout the ages. These shy Water signs revel in romance, close relationships, and total devotion to those they care about. While Cancers can be moody and sensitive, they will bend over backward for their beaus.
Leo - Laszlo
Laszlo Cravensworth is a former English nobleman turned into a vampire by Nadja. The two are married. Laszlo is gregarious and creative. In addition to being an accomplished musician, Laszlo is a talented topiary artist with a unique vision.
Leos are artistic, outgoing Fire signs who delight in being doted upon. Humorous, egotistical, and lively, Leos always know how to have a good time.
Virgo - Colin Robinson
Colin Robinson lives with Nandor, Laszlo, and Nadja. Instead of a bloodsucker, Colin is an energy sucker. Colin feeds on humans and vampires alike by engaging them in never-ending, boring conversations. Colin works in an office by day, where he's free to feed on his colleagues.
Reserved and quirky Virgos are dependable and hard-working, but these Earth signs can also be very judgmental and critical. Virgos tend to turn their nervous analytical style on themselves, becoming their own worst enemies.
Libra - Jenna
Jenna is a virginal college student transformed into a vampire by Nadja. Jenna is a kind, egalitarian human who struggles with her vampirism. Nadja teaches the newbie how to harness her new powers and become an effective nightwalker.
Jenna is a total Libra. These charming Air signs can be quite indecisive, as they always weigh their options until they're exhausted. Libras want peace and harmony, but it doesn't always work out for them.
Scorpio - Nadja
Nadja is an old Romani vampire. Nadja scales walls, dresses like a Victorian goddess, and exacts revenge on anyone who crosses her. Like Laszlo, Nadja is also a musician. Nadja is much more refined than her vampire roommates, and she employs some manipulative tactics to get the house in order.
Scorpios are considered the spookiest and most emotionally intense Zodiac sign. These Water signs are equal parts charismatic and elusive. Scorpios are full of deep feeling, imaginative, and strength.
Sagittarius - Sean
Sean is the daft human neighbor of Nandor, Laszlo, and Nadja. This beer-drinking sports buff has no idea the house next door is occupied by vampires. Sean is always friendly and outgoing. He even invites the bloodsucking crew to his Superbowl party.
Like Sean, Sagitarriuses are warm Fire signs who are talkative, friendly, and restless. Sagitarriuses do not take no for an answer, especially when socializing is involved.
Capricorn - The Baron
Baron Afanas is an old, old school vampire who pays Nandor, Laszlo, and Nadja a visit. The Baron believes vampires should rule the world instead of co-existing with humans, and his hosts have to keep him from forging a path of carnage on Staten Island.
Capricorns are traditionalists who can be willful and quiet rigid about their worldviews. The Baron definitely fits the profile of this Earth sign. While reliable and honest, Capricorns are also demanding and stubborn.
