Meg Fink and Mason Horacek didn't get engaged on Netflix's Love Is Blind season 8 cast to go through ups and downs. The dramatic season ended with only one married couple.
Because Meg and Mason didn't get engaged, their lives after the pods weren't followed by the show. Even so, they've both had a fascinating journey. Today, Meg and Mason are open about their relationship and lives since meeting on the Netflix dating show. What happened to Meg and Mason after filming Love Is Blind season 8?
Mason And Meg's Journey On Love Is Blind
They Were Part Of A Love Quadrangle
Mason and Meg had a tumultuous journey on Love Is Blind. As is common on the show, Mason developed a connection with more than one woman. Madison Errichiello included Mason in her many pod connections, and Mason attempted to commit exclusively to Madison despite his connection with Meg. Ultimately, Madison chose to be exclusive with Alex Brown and end her connection with Mason. Madison felt that Mason was being manipulative once he realized she was pulling away and warned that he may lose both of his connections.

Mason attempted to win Meg back, claiming he realized he had a stronger connection with her anyway. After all, they had bonded over conspiracy theories and the movie Her. However, Meg didn't want to feel like a second choice in her relationship, and she ended things with Mason. Because of this drama, Mason was seen as a villain of the season. Alex ended things with Madison, and all four of the love quadrangle went back to Minnesota single.
Meg And Mason Dated After The Pods
They Fell In Love In The Real World
After leaving the pods single, Meg and Mason were given their phones back. At that point, they were able to find each other's social media s. While they had fallen for each other sight unseen, knowing what each other looked like reignited their feelings for each other.
In episode 11, the engaged couples met up with the unengaged of the pod squad for a night of eating and drinking. Meg and Mason arrived at the event together, holding hands, which immediately sparked whispers among the other cast . Meg itted that she assumed she would never talk to Mason again after the pods, but their spark reignited as soon as they got their phones back.
Although they had already figured out what each other looked like from social media pictures, Meg and Mason decided to partake in their own reveal, wearing the outfits they would have worn had they gotten engaged on the show. They began dating and seemed extremely happy together during episode 11.
Unfortunately for the love birds, Meg and Mason's relationship wasn't all smooth sailing.
During the Love Is Blind season 8 reunion, Mason informed hosts Nick and Vanessa Lachey that he and Meg were no longer dating, although they remained best friends. Madison claimed she was happy for the couple when she learned they were dating. She also said that Mason and Meg made a much better couple than she and Mason would have.
Are Meg And Mason Dating Anyone?
Are Either Of Them Single?
In a shocking turn of events, Meg and Mason revealed that they got back together and are currently dating. On the Dear Shandy podcast, Mason said he was honest at the Love Is Blind season 8 reunion that he and Meg were just friends, but their relationship had since changed. He said they were taking things slow, but the two are dating.
Meg told the podcast that she and Mason had tried dating twice before, so it makes sense that they don't want to rush or force the relationship this time around. She claimed things were missing from the relationship the previous times they tried dating. However, after proving they worked well together in a platonic relationship and could show up for each other when needed, the two decided to give dating another go.
There's no way to know if Meg and Mason will remain together for the long haul or eventually get married. If they do decide to tie the knot, they will be the first Love Is Blind pod couple to get married off-camera. Hopefully, Meg and Mason are happy together and remain so for a long time.
