Cobb has seemingly disappeared after this robbery, although there has been no explanation as to where he went.

Since Cobb didn't die in "Interlude IV," it is possible that he could appear again in season 4. "Interlude IV" gives Michael Rooker a wig to make him look younger, and it would be weird to de-age the actor if The Righteous Gemstones didn't also want him playing an older version of his character. Cobb's storyline isn't resolved by the end of "Interlude IV," meaning that it wouldn't be surprising to see him return again in The Righteous Gemstones' final season.

The ominous shots of the alligators that are sprinkled throughout the episode could mean that Cobb has been feeding his victims to them, further explaining the killings in The Righteous Gemstones season 4.
