The ever-popular Japanese franchise Pokémon Red and Blue has expanded beyond video games. Pokémon has now grossed over $92 billion from its video games, television shows, trading cards, movies, and more.

No matter the form, every person can connect with the world of Pokémon. A total of 898 Pokémon from eight different generations range over 18 different types from Fire to Fairy. One of the original and most popular types among fans remains to be Water-type Pokémon. The first Water-type to debut was Squirtle, but there is a Water Pokémon for everyone based on their zodiac sign.

 

Capricorn - Sobble

Of all the Water-type Pokémon, Sobble embodies being a Capricorn. Sobble is the Water starter Pokémon of the 8th Generation. It is a small, light blue aquatic creature with dark blue spots underneath its eyes.

Sobble and Capricorns share the idea of being shy, conservative, and pessimistic. Capricorns tend to keep to themselves and be less outgoing. Oftentimes Sobble is crying large tears or hiding in the back as a way to camouflage itself. Sobble and Capricorns expect the worst, but don't fret because Sobble evolves later into one of the strongest Pokémon in Sword and Shield, Inteleon and Capricorns can evolve too into strong people.

Aquarius - Lapras

People that have the zodiac sign of Aquarius are Lapras at heart. Lapras is a 1st Generation Pokémon that rides the seas. Even though Lapras can be ridden upon, it prefers to be independent as Aquarius people are.

The sign of Aquarius indicates that someone is versatile, original, and easy-going. Lapras is a Water-type but it can learn and use Ice moves creatively in battle. Outside battling, Lapras is an extremely friendly Pokémon that is usually gliding by itself in the Lake of Outrage in Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield.

Pisces - Marill

Marill is a Water-Fairy Pokémon that resembles a mouse. It has a bright blue body, a circular tail, and large ears. Marill shares the attribute of sensitivity with Pisces as its ears can detect sounds from long distances.

Marill is a joyful Pokémon with a bouncy, free personality, but can be emotionally sensitive - like a Pisces. Pisces and Marill want to be the center of attention and adored by those around them. Without others around it, Pisces don't function to their optimum levels - like Marill.

Aries - Buizel

There is no other Water-type Pokémon that fits the bill as an Aries quite like Buizel. Aries are independent and assertive. They like to show off how much it can do even when its way beyond its capability.

In Pokémon The Series: Diamond And Pearl, Ash receives Buizel in a trade with trainer Dawn. Buizel refused to do pageant contests with Dawn and work alongside other Water Pokémon. This Buizel wanted to battle and when it comes time to battle for an Aries or a Buizel, they will and cannot be held back by anyone.

Taurus - Froakie

Froakie, the quadrupedal frog Pokémon is a Taurus. Those that share the sign of Taurus are very down-to-Earth but want attention much like this 6th Generation Pokémon. Most times, Taurus people are lovable and energetic much like a Froakie.

However, Taurus and Froakie can be a handful at times. In Pokemon XY, Ash catches Froakie in the first episode. When he goes to use Froakie in training and battle, Froakie refuses all of his commands. Those that are Taurus tend to have a rough time getting along with others, but like Froakie and Ash, will get there.

Gemini - Totodile

When it comes to being playful, yet a little mischievous, Totodile is that Pokémon. Geminis and Totodiles love attention and are extremely sweet when feeling adored. However, if a Gemini feels left out it will lose control and act out- like Totodile. But, for the most part, they are playful.

Geminis and Totodiles adore playing games whether it be splashing puddles or having fun with other Pokémon. Geminis can do just about anything from much like a Totodile. From shooting Water Gun out of its mouth to clamping hard on something using Crunch, this Pokémon and Geminis are of many talents.

Cancer - Krabby

It is no surprise that Krabby, the 1st Generation crab Pokémon, has the personality of the zodiac sign Cancer. Cancer means crab in Latin, but that is not just what makes this Pokémon a Cancer. Cancers tend to be very sensitive, protective, and loving.

The first instinct for a Cancer and Krabby is to protect itself and feel secure. Krabby uses its large claws to keep those from harming it. While a Cancer and Krabby don't usually make the first strike, they will not hold back if they feel attacked. They are also ones not to forget and might come back later to pinch the aggressor. Underneath their shells, a Cancer and Krabby are friendly and practical.

Leo - Squirtle

When it comes to prideful Pokémon, look no further than Squirtle. Leo and Squirtle share the qualities of being self-motivated leaders with drive, ion, and dedication. Fans see Squirtle's prideful personality shine in Pokémon: The Series in the 12th episode titled "Here Comes The Squirtle Squad". Ash catches Squirtle but as a Leo tends to do, Squirtle gives him a hard time.

When a Leo and a Squirtle commit to someone or something they are faithful to the end. A Leo and Squirtle will use creativity to complete a task or reach a milestone. They will do anything to win, even if it means using its charm as a Squirtle is one of the cutest Pokémon of all time.

Virgo - Milotic

Milotic, the evolved form of Feebas, is the Virgo when it comes to Water-type Pokémon. A Virgo tends to be ridiculously strong similar to how this aquatic sea serpent is one of the strongest Water-type Pokémon in the Hoenn region and all of Pokémon. Rarely does a Virgo lose or this mesmerizing Pokémon go down in battle.

Virgos and Milotic act as leaders. They always aim and obtain success by being creative and clever. When it is in a hard situation or down in a battle, Virgos will use any range of moves as a Milotic can use Water-type to Dragon-Type moves. Others know they are in good hands if they have a Virgo or Milotic alongside them.

Libra - Piplup

The Generation IV starter Pokémon, Piplup, is undoubtedly the essence of being a Libra. Considered one of the cutest Water-type Pokémon, Piplup is a small blue penguin that is simply irresistible.

Libras love to explore and discover much like a Piplup does in the icy and cold-water areas of the Sinnoh Region. Libras tend to have trouble in the love department and getting along with people is difficult. A Libra is naturally wild, and its indecisiveness can make it unsteady, but a Libra and Piplup are just impossible not to love.
