surprise visitor from Wanda's past. The theme song definitely suggests something is amiss in Westview.

One of the many aspects that make WandaVision so engaging is the theme song and how fully it immerses viewers into Wanda's fantasy world. As each episode transforms into a different decade of television, so too do the opening credits. Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez, the husband and wife team behind the music of inspiration from classic sitcoms.

The theme for episode 5 is much less catchy and far more subdued than its previous jingles. It aligns closest to the person censoring the broadcasts.

A lot of the lyrics like "Crossing our fingers, singing a song / We're making it up as we go along" could reflect Wanda and Vision's family and introduction into parenthood, though it also reveals that Wanda no longer has as firm of a grasp as she thought she did on the safe haven she's created.  It's been implied that Wanda isn't acting alone in Westview, and there could be something greater lurking in the shadows. It also foreshadows the fact that Wanda doesn't control everyone who visits their house, as the appearance of Evan Peters' Quicksilver confirms.

The song continues with "And there will be days / We won't know which way to go / But we'll take it higher" which could foreshadow Vision's growing doubts about Wanda's manifestations of her powers in public, his shock at coworker Norm's suppressed "real" identity, and his very tense confrontation with Wanda, where they both rise off the ground. As WandaVision continues, it is pretty much guaranteed that Wanda and Vision will endure many more arguments as Wanda struggles to keep up the facade of their perfect life. It'll also be interesting to see how the theme songs highlight their changing relationship and Wanda's loss of control in future episodes.
