Paul Bettany teases the ending of Marvel's Scarlet Witch and Vision - as they settle down into a sweet domestic life in the town of Westview. However, not everything is as it seems, and fans have spent the first several episodes trying to piece together the mystery.

So far, three out of nine WandaVision episodes have debuted on Disney+. Each one has taken place in a new decade, with the first being the 1950s. Fans used to the explosive action of the MCU have been taken aback by the classic sitcom format, which has so far largely kept Wanda and Vision in simple plots like Vision getting a piece of gum stuck in his gears and Wanda giving birth to twins Tommy and Billy. However, there have been numerous clues that something far more nefarious is at work, and answers are expect to roll out soon.

During an interview with Lights, Camera, PodBettany shared some new teases about what's to come on WandaVision. While he couldn't give any specifics about WandaVision's story, Bettany hinted the ending will take fans by surprise. He believes it will leave fans yelling, "Oh my God!" Additionally, it will have implications for the entire MCU. "They're going to look at the MCU in a whole new light, and also have a much deeper understanding of what direction it's moving," Bettany said.

Bettany has previously commented on WandaVision's ending, calling it a "full MCU action movie." For those who have been disappointed by the slower nature of the show's early installments, this will surely come as a relief. It's interesting to consider how WandaVision, which so far feels fairly contained, will impact the larger MCU. It wasn't always supposed to kick off Phase 4, but Bettany's comments make it sound like WandaVision really is the best choice to usher in this new era.

WandaVision's third episode ended with "Geraldine" (Teyonah Parris) being flung out of Westview after questioning Wanda about her brother late Pietro (Aaron Taylor-Johnson). It was easily the most shocking moment so far, and it left fans reeling. Hopefully Friday's episode can provide some much-needed answers about what is going on in Westview. Now that Geraldine has landed in SWORD's outside base camp, WandaVision might be able to dig into what's going on in the outside world. Maybe then audiences will get an idea of how the show will reframe the MCU going forward.
