WandaVision's marketing campaign is in full swing and fans are trying to dissect every aspect of the trailers and other promotional material being released. The posters for the show are actually revealing a surprising amount of information, though.

Deliberately designed to tease fans about what's in store, there's been a large number of posters created by Marvel Studios, both for the series as a whole and specific character posters. There's a great number of details many people might have missed when exploring these artistic designs further; details that could actually hold the key as to what might happen in this exciting new show.

Evolving Costumes

Wanda And Vision Poster Wandavision

The Scarlet Witch has gone through a lot of different costume designs over the years. However, this poster seems to demonstrate that she will make a huge evolution in of her wardrobe, perhaps as she grows more powerful.

Seen in two of the TV screens, many have pointed to the fact that the design of the costume looks a little bit like Magneto's own battle armor from the X-Men series of comics. Of course, in the source material, the terrifying master of magnetism is in fact Wanda's father.

The Government Group

Darcy and Jimmy Woo MCU WandaVision

The poster also teases the potential for the government to be involved with what's happening with Wanda and the Vision. To the right of the poster, Jimmy Woo and Darcy Lewis can be seen in one of the TV screens, alongside Monica Rambeau who are all established MCU characters.

It's possible that all three are working alongside the government. Woo has previous experience with the FBI, Darcy has worked with them on scientific matters and Rambeau is linked to the US military thanks to Captain Marvel. Perhaps there's more at play here than fans realize.

Puppetry

Wandavision Poster

The iconic 'I've got no strings' theme played for the arrival of Ultron in the MCU, but it seems that the unnamed 'Nosy Neighbour' of the serie, might actually be controlled by someone behind the scenes. Maybe even the main villain of the show!

The TV screen to the right of the poster, around the arm of this unnamed neighbor, looks as if it has some kind of rod. This looks incredibly similar to a rod that many puppets have, when a puppeteer is situated underneath the character.

Changing Hair

Wanda in WandaVision

The hair in WandaVision is a great clue as to which era the characters are in. It seems that besides the Vision and the Scarlet Witch, though, only one character is being transported to each time zone and that is this nosy neighbor.

She's seen with a lot of different hairstyles and while the trailer did show that Monica Rambeau might be trapped at some stage, she can eventually be seen with Jimmy and Darcy. It's unclear why this neighbor is so heavily linked to this couple!

Vision's Humanity

Vision Wandavision Poster

It seems that the series is going to try to explore the humanity of the Vision further. In previous MCU appearances, he lacked hobbies, a family, or even the true understanding of what it is to be human, outside of his relationship.

The poster teases the appearance of what could even be fake parents for him and also shows him playing the guitar; a very human hobby. The series will clearly try to create the Vision to be the man of Wanda's dreams, rather than the dead robot of her nightmares.

The Mind Stone

-What Does Wanda Do With The Mind Stone?

The reason the Vision is dead and perhaps not fully coming back is because the Mind Stone that powers him was destroyed. The trailers for WandaVision have teased there may be a way to return that stone, though.

For the posters, there's clearly no hint of the Mind Stone whatsoever. Every picture of Vision's face is in human form. While his costume is teased within the TV screens, there's no yellow glow around demonstrating his full return.

Monica's Suit

Monica Rambeau Poster

Monica Rambeau is yet to have a superhero suit in the MCU. The last time she appeared she was still in the midst of her childhood, helping out her hero Captain Marvel. Now she's all grown up she's ready to enter the superhero world herself.

The middle television teases a different costume for her. Seemingly white, it looks a little bit like an astronaut's outfit. It's possible that this is the predecessor to her own superhero costume though, especially since traditional this also uses white and black elements.

New Powers

WandaVision Monica Rambeau

To the left of the poster, Monica can be seen clasping her hand. While all the posters have the character's hand in the image, each one says something different about the journey they may go on.

For Monica, it looks as if she's about to use her hand to create some kind of energy blast. It's possible that the poster is teasing the use of her powers, which comic book fans will already be familiar with.

Magical Symbols

Wanda Wandavision Poster

Wanda's brand new costume is teased once again in this poster, although this time fans get to see another area of it. The torso is on display and where a belt buckle would sit is instead some kind of magical symbol.

It's unclear what it means exactly, but it seems to be a very deliberate choice. The symbol looks a little like the relic of dark magic that is commonly associated with Dormmamu, but it could also be an upside down M, which fans know has big connotations.

Looking To The Neighbour

Wanda looks angry and uses her powers against Thanos in Avengers: Endgame

In three of the posters, a scene showing Wanda looking to her left towards the nosy neighbor has managed to be deemed important enough to be featured. Clearly, there's something symbolic about this moment.

There's plenty of rumors circulating that the neighbor is actually the witch Agatha Harkness. Since Agatha may be training Wanda further like in the comics, it may be that this is symbolic of Wanda looking to her for advice. The neighbor is also pointing to her head; perhaps a witch's hat should be there?
