In Wanda Maximoff's fake reality. One of those townies is Agnes, Wanda's next-door neighbor. Agnes helped Wanda cook dinner for Mr. and Mrs. Hart, but later appeared to be less ive when gossiping with Herb about Geraldine and refusing to explain it to Vision.

In episode 2, Dottie showcased a higher level of awareness than most other neighbors when interacting with Wanda, raising suspicion for many viewers as to whether she is more aware of the nature of Wanda's powers and the nature of the strange setting to town seem to find themselves in. In episode 3, Herb was about to reveal something serious about everyone in the town of Westview to Vision, but he was cut off by Agnes. So far, Agnes is the character who seems to know what's best for Wanda and her neighbors, as she prevents Herb from giving up too much information, and helps Wanda keep up appearances with Dottie and the Harts, characters who apparently need to be pleased so they don't question their reality.  It may look trivial, but the symbol Agnes wears as a brooch and a necklace may explain why she's so keen on keeping the peace in Westview.

Ever since the cast of WandaVision was first revealed, Agnes has been rumored to be Agatha Harkness, Scarlet Witch's mentor in the comics. Her name is an obvious hint, but the symbol she wears also resembles the collar Agatha Harkness wears in most of her comic book appearances. In WandaVision, the symbol seems to be an important object because it changes appearance throughout the decades — but just like Geraldine's S.W.O.R.D. necklace, it only changes style instead of disappearing altogether inside Wanda's reality. Coupled with Agnes' careful decisions, the symbol may be the definitive clue about Agnes' real name: Agatha Harkness, one of Marvel's most experienced witches trying to keep Wanda in check.

Agnes in WandaVision, The Grim Reaper, and the TVA in Loki

The mystery doesn't stop there, however, as the symbol also sports a mysterious shape. It appears to be comprised of three human figures, with the one in the middle holding a scythe. This figure could have a connection with the Grim Reaper (Wonder Man's brother and Vision's long-time enemy), who was referenced in the animated opening of WandaVision episode 2. Another possibility would be the mysterious three figures from the Loki trailer, who seem to have a strong influence on the flow of different timelines and perhaps different realities, as they're revered with a monument at the Time Variance Authority headquarters.

Geraldine's S.W.O.R.D. symbol was important enough to remain on her as a necklace, and also conspicuous enough to earn her an unceremonious eviction. Whatever meaning Agnes' brooch and necklace may have, its permanence on her clothes is key to the world of WandaVision. Time is ticking for everyone in Westview, and Agnes may have no other choice but to reveal her true identity and help Wanda escape from her own fabrication.
