several new things to the game, including more storage space for players within their homes. This 50% increase in space is well worth upgrading. It takes the storage space from 1,600 slots to 2,400.

While some players may be intimidated by that number and not even close to filling their closets in-game, as the holiday content continues there will be more reason for it. Having the space to put away seasonal decorations and objects the player hasn't found the perfect spot for just yet. This upgrade is well worth hassling Tom Nook.

Much like every other type of upgrade, players will need to seek out Tom Nook. Assuming this is after the town has developed a bit, he'll be in the town hall. One of the first things a player needs before they can achieve this upgrade is to have gotten and paid off all other upgrades to the player's home. This includes expanding the first floor, having all the additional rooms on the first floor, getting a second floor, and a basement.

Nearly all of these renovations will cost over 100,000 bells, so players will need to go through quite a bit of grinding. The secondary thing to is that it always takes one day before an upgrade will go through. This means that even with quite a bit of grinding, it will likely take a couple of days if the player hasn't gotten all of their house upgrades.

Once all of that is done, players can head to see Tom Nook at the town hall as usual. Ask him about the player's home and ask for the final the house storage. This will cost a hefty sum of 500,000 bells, but don't feel pressured to pay off this in a hurry. Players will still receive the upgrade before payment, a day after the request.

While it is very expensive, it is the last upgrade available currently and is much less expensive than adding an extra floor to the house. That being said it is likely a great investment if Nintendo continues to release new content for the game within the next few years as players will be able to build up all sorts of collections within their home to display and pack away for a later date.
