After the Skywalker saga came to a close with the last film in the latest trilogy, questions abounded about the future of the Star Wars franchise. What would be next? When would there be more movies">Star Wars: Squadrons is not just a great throwback—it’s actually a pretty good game.
And what else is pretty good? Baby Yoda. People love this readymade meme machine, and for good reason. He’s cute. He drinks soup. The force is strong with him. Baby Yoda was the breakout star from the straight-shooting, crowd-pleasing TV-show, The Mandalorian, and he’s now coming to Star Wars: Squadrons in the form of Dashboard Flair. Here is how to unlock the Child.
How to unlock Baby Yoda Dashboard Flair in Star Wars: Squadrons
Players will be able to access Baby Yoda (or the “Mysterious Creature,” as he’s called in the game) after ing the free Mandalorian Supply Drop. This is a free bonus content update that should automatically when you boot up the game, so long as you’re using network features. Once you’ve logged into the game, the Baby Yoda Dashboard Flair can then be unlocked. To do so, navigate to the Customization Menu from the Main Menu. Make sure to select the New Republic, as they are the only faction that can access the Baby Yoda Dashboard Flair (the Galactic Empire, on the other hand, has access to IG-88 Dashboard Flair).
After clicking on the Customization Menu, players will then be taken to a hangar where they can click on their ship to “customize starfighter.” From this menu, select edit loadout and then scroll to the Dashboard Flair submenu. From here, players can select the Baby Yoda Dashboard Flair and purchase it for 1,200 Glory points. Since this is a microtransaction-free game, the only way to get Glory points is by playing the game. Complete Daily Challenges, rank up in multiplayer, or increase one’s Fleet Battle Rank to earn more Glory points. 1,200 Glory points is a hefty price, but it’s well worth it to have the Child sitting pretty on the old X-Wing's dashboard.
Star Wars: Squadrons is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
