Since the announcement of double leads for The Bachelor.
However, this is not the first time the ABC reality show has featured two women as the lead. In The Bachelorette season 11, Kaitlyn Bristowe and Britt Nilsson were both vying to be The Bachelorette. On night one, the men had the chance to get to know each of the women and then pick which one would lead the season. The men picked Kaitlyn, and Britt was sent home. This isn't the case for Gabby and Rachel's season, who will both get a shot at finding love. Let's see how this season will play out.
Gabby and Rachel's season, which will be hosted by Jesse Palmer, starts like traditional seasons of The Bachelorette. There are limo exits and first impressions, but at the third rose ceremony, the format starts to deviate. According to Reality Steve's podcast, the first two episodes will allow the men to get to know Rachel and Gabby separately. By the third rose ceremony, Rachel and Gabby will give out roses to the men they are interested in pursuing. The men, as always, have the option to accept the rose or not. Reality Steve also revealed that Rachel was rejected by a couple of her choices; however, it's unclear whether those men will stay and pursue Gabby or will be sent home.
The third rose ceremony is significant because it's the ceremony before the cast starts traveling. Reality Steve has also revealed that Rachel and Gabby's journey for love will take them across Europe to Paris, Amsterdam, and Belgium. Fans of The Bachelorette know that abroad travel is when contestants and leads nail down who they are most attracted to and tend to focus on the connections. Essentially, after the third rose ceremony, it will be like two separate seasons of The Bachelorette: Gabby's journey and Rachel's journey. Luckily for the women, they get to lean on each other for instead of competing against each other as they did on Clayton's season of The Bachelor.
Even though Reality Steve has spoiled a lot of this season of The Bachelorette, fans are eager to see how the new format and rules will play out. Bachelor in Paradise.
