The annual seasonal Turkey Terror Event has returned to New World and offers players a chance to gain special loot for defeating turkeys in Aeternum. This year's event in New World spawns a new enemy, Turkulon - a giant turkey that takes several players to take it down. Players can the 2022 event between November 16th and December 6th for the chance to gain some seasonal items.
A joke about a giant turkey with laser eyes led to the design of Turkulon, Aeternum’s most fearsome turkey. New World's Turkey Terror returns to the game every November and based on that New World developers have addressed, enemies will now respawn faster and offer more loot than they did last year. During the course of the event, both regular turkeys and Turkulon each reward players with different loot for defeating them.
All Turkulon Event Rewards in New World
When killed, regular turkeys that spawn across the map give players a chance to obtain several different items. Turkey Terror turkeys also can drop Turkulon’s Claw Skinning Knife, which can be used to skin turkeys for even more exclusive loot. Each regular turkey has a 10% chance to drop the knife, although some reward items appear in daily limits that reset along with the New World servers at 5 AM local time.

During the Turkulon Event, New World's Turkey Terror boss locations alternate between several different spawn points on the map. Players can team up with their friends, faction, or fellow adventurers to take down Turkulon, the level 66 feathered fiend, and collect their rewards. Players must deal a minimum amount of damage to receive rewards, but they are guaranteed to receive all Turkulon's rewards after killing the beast 15 times.

In addition to Turkulon being added as New World's latest boss, the Turkey Terror Event also gives regular turkeys a chance to drop special loot, including the Turkulon’s Claw Skinning Knife. This knife can be used to skin turkeys to give even more exclusive loot to players who team up with their friends or faction in New World to defeat Turkulon. Whether players are seeking to kill regular turkeys or hunt the massive Turkulon, there are plenty of rewards they can seek during the event.
