Tracker star Melissa Roxburgh has opened up about Colter's reunion with his sister, explaining what the siblings coming together in the latest episode means for the rest of season 1. Roxburgh made her first appearance on the series in episode 11 as Dory, Colter's younger sister who works as a professor. Her appearance coincides with the show's main character investigating the truth behind their father's death, something she doesn't want to be part of.

Speaking with cast of Tracker will impact the rest of season 1, explaining the meaning behind their reunion. The actor explained how Colter's sister wants what's best for both him and their brother, Russell, and wants to see them all reunite in a more permanent way. She knows that he has always been like this. Their family is not normal, especially how they were raised. There’s an understanding about the trauma that he’s been through as well. I don’t think Dory is a judgmental person at all; she really just wants what is best for her two brothers. When Colter does show up, it’s like the prodigal son kind of thing. She’s just happy that he’s back, but then she realizes [later in the episode] that he’s not really back. That’s almost what upsets her more: that he isn’t even showing up with the right intentions. That’s what hurts her the most.

How Colter’s Family Might Impact The Rest Of Tracker Season 1

Colter's investigation into his father's death appears wrapped in a family mystery, as he suspects his brother of having been responsible for Ashton's murder. As for Dory, she is still in with the pair's brother, clearly not wanting to wallow in the past nor let it control her future decisions. Russell is also expected to debut next week, portrayed by Supernatural alum Jensen Ackles, his presence no doubt adding more context to the siblings' past and what happened to their father.

Episode 11 also had familial surprises as Colter's investigation continued, with evidence cropping up indicating Ashton was a government contractor. While it's unclear if his work had anything to do with his death, Russell's introduction will likely provide the vital, missing puzzle pieces to everything that happened. Although it's unclear if the mystery of their father's death will be resolved by the ene of season 1, the show's hero finally ing his siblings is a positive sign for his investigation. Although it's also clear Dory wishes it was simply because he missed his family.

As for Russell, it's been confirmed he will return for Tracker season 2, meaning his season 1 debut won't be the last audiences see of him. The same might also go for Dory, whose introduction implied she will still appear to some extent as the show continues. Because Colter's family is becoming more prominent as season 1 draws to a close, their appearance may solve a big part of their dad's death, while leaving some unanswered questions for next season. Perhaps they'll even work together to uncover the truth behind their past, and what mysteries they haven't solved yet.
