His friends convince him that he's a unicorn in the dating world because he's a genuinely good and caring person and he hasn't been in a relationship in years through no fault of his own. It's a typical sitcom, but it sees Walton Goggins take on a starring role in a genre he hasn't acted in before.
Ant-Man And The Wasp (2018) - 7.1
The second film in the Marvel Paul Rudd's Scott Lang again as he returns as Ant-Man and teams up with Hope van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) as the Wasp. The film also delves into Dr. Hank Pym's (Michael Douglas) past relationship with Hope's mother, Janet (Michaelle Pfeiffer) as they continue their search for her. Walton Goggins has a minor role, but he certainly makes an impression as one of the villains.
That Evening Sun (2009) - 7.1
This film follows a man (Hal Holbrook) who is determined to escape his nursing home and live the rest of his life on his Tennessee farm. He was left to a nursing home by his son (Walton Goggins) and is able to break out and goes back to live on his farm alone. He quickly finds trouble with the new tenants his son leased the farm to and they relive and escalate an old feud.
The Hateful Eight (2015) - 7.8
This Quentin Tarantino directed Western follows a group of characters in the post-American Civil War period. They're all traveling to the same town of Red Rock, Wyoming, but a blizzard pauses everyone's travel, seek cover, and interact in Minnie's Haberdashery.
Everything ends in a big shootout between bounty hunters, criminals, and people with differing opinions about the outcome of the war.
Vice Principals (2016-2018) - 8.0
This HBO show stars Danny McBride and Walton Goggins as two co-vice principals who are both vying for the principal role when he retires. Instead, they hire a woman from outside of the school to fill the role, much to the chagrin of the two vice principals, who begin conspiring together to bring her downfall. It quickly becomes a dark comedy and some uncomfortable viewing when the audience realizes how far these two characters will go for a job. It's an interesting and entertaining show that delves into the psychology of the characters through their actions.
The Righteous Gemstones (2019- ) - 8.1
This current HBO show reunites Danny McBride and Walton Goggins along with a new cast of characters including John Goodman and Adam DeVine. This show follows the Gemstone family who have made a fortune by being megachurch pastors. They hypocritically preach good and pure values although their family is far from perfect with estranged family and blackmailers plaguing their bad deeds.
Django Unchained (2012) - 8.4
This Quentin Tarantino film follows a former slave (Jamie Foxx) and a bounty hunter (Christoph Waltz) who both help each other hunt down others for revenge. The Western follows the two on their incredibly violent journey in pre Civil War America. Although Walton Goggins doesn't have as big of a role in this one compared to the other Tarantino film on this list, if someone's a Tarantino fan it's worth checking out.
Justified (2010-2015) - 8.6
This television series followed U.S. Marshal Raylan Givens (Timothy Olyphant) going back to his mining and drug epicenter hometown in Kentucky.
Givens constantly squares off against local criminal Boyd Crowder (Walton Goggins) and his past demons are still alive in his hometown. It's a creative, dramatic, and, at times, hilarious show that
Sons Of Anarchy (2008-2014) - 8.6
This show follows the personal and professional life of Jax Teller (Charlie Hunnam) as he tries to manage a motorcycle club involved in illegal activity like gun-running. The gang deals with rivals and politicians throughout the series. Although Walton Goggins only has a small role in this series, he was nominated for Best Guest Performer Awards for the part of trans woman Venus Van Dam.
The Shield (2002-2008) - 8.7
This FX show followed a group of corrupt enforcer cops who do anything to get the job done, even if that means breaking every rule in the book. The group believes they're the only ones who can right wrongs in the crime-ridden California city. As one of the first shows to portray an antihero as the main character it helped pave the way for the slew of antihero characters throughout television in recent years.
