The remastered version of discover other hidden secrets, like the school bells they can ring by performing a wallride or the secret VHS tapes. Throughout both games, players can find 11 secret VHS tapes in locations around the map. Some of these are easy to spot but difficult to reach, while others are difficult to spot but easy to reach.
These hidden VHS tapes are collectible items, and finding them is part of the set of challenges players need to take on to complete each stage of the game. In Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2, players can find five tapes. Here's where they are and how to reach them all.
Where to Find Every Secret Tape in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2
The VHS Tapes in the game are blue and glow. They are often suspended in the air somewhere within a stage of the game.
The Hangar
On this stage, players will need to grind along one of the blades of the helicopter to make it take off. Once the door opens, the player can find the VHS tape on the ramp.
School II
This one is a little tougher to retrieve. Players will need to go under the tunnel and stay to the right by the smashed lockers. As they travel around the perimeter, they'll want to try and grind along one of the landscaping boxes to get enough speed to ramp onto an awning. From there, they will need to wallride to the ledge of the library's roof. The tape is in the middle of a gap they can reach by hitting the brakes, backing up to get as much speed as possible, and allowing Tony Hawk to bounce off the far wall across the gap (at the East Wing).
NY City
This tape is located just past the elevated trolley tracks. To reach it, players should travel up the escalator and take a right, travel along the trolley tracks in the opposite direction of the trains and jump off at a ramp, and grind along two metal bars in the air.
Venice Beach
Players can find the Venice Beach VHS Tape in the middle of the park, over a metal bar. It is one of the most difficult to grab, so players will want to be sure to use the ramps to pick up speed. It is also helpful to have the maximum Speed, Airtime, and Ollie stats.
Philadelphia
This tape is far easier to grab. It is located at the end of the rail above the fountain. To reach it, players should grind along the rail.
