Tom Holland is ready to keep playing Captain America: Civil War, Holland has quickly seen his take on Peter Parker become a fan-favorite character. His youthful portrayal of Spider-Man managed to restore the character's popularity, even after two previous franchises, and got fans excited to see what would come next.

His first solo film Spider-Man: Far From Home is released.

During Screen Rant's visit to the set of Spider-Man: Far From Home, we had the opportunity to speak to Holland as part of a round-table interview. With plenty of mileage already on his Spidey suit, many have wondered just how long he'll play Peter for. Fans aren't ready to say goodbye to him, and thankfully, Holland isn't interested in hanging up the suit anytime soon either. He's willing to do 20 Spider-Man movies, saying the sequel has been an even better experience than the first film.

It feels pretty good. It's an amazing experience as an actor and such a privileged experience as an actor to get to play characters that you love so much. Time and time again. Um, I definitely have the mindset of, if you want to make 20 of these movies, then I'm down because it's really fun. It's, it's been a real privilege and so much fun. Maybe even more fun this time around than the last one. It's been great.

Tom Holland as Spider-Man in Spider-Man Homecoming

This is great news for the MCU that Holland wants to stick around this long, but it won't be long before Sony and Marvel Studios will need to extend his contract further. Holland previously revealed that a full trilogy for him, but then his contract and the deal struck between Sony and Marvel will both need to be extended. This is needed so Holland can not only keep playing Spider-Man, but that he can do it in the MCU.

If this does happen (as expected), then Holland will be able to continue playing Peter throughout various stages of his life. He's still in high school at this point in time, so an entire trilogy could be dedicated to him in college and becoming an adult, while we could eventually get to the point where he's married, runs his own company, and maybe even helps introduce Miles Morales at some point. There are no shortage of villains to be thrown at him either, and many of the ones already introduced could return in the future. And, with his real world popularity considered, Spider-Man becoming a mainstay on the Avengers roster is just another story that the MCU can explore if Holland does get to play him for years to come.
