Final Destination: Bloodlines is easily one of the best in the franchise, if not the best. The deaths are all over-the-top and ridiculous, as they should be, but one of them really bothered me. SPOILER AHEAD: Death comes for Erik, but when he survives it is discovered that he is actually not related to the side of the family that death is after. His mother had an affair, so that should put him in the clear. Later on, he is killed (in one of the best death scenes ever, let's be honest here) under the guise that when you F with death, things get messy. He was trying to help his half-brother cheat death and apparently death did not like that. Erik is my favorite character in Bloodlines, hands down, so while I understand the reasoning, I really wish they did not kill him off. It wasn't completely necessary, and it made me sad.
