I think with the evolution of the science fiction genre, actors are under a lot of pressure to offer something striking or unique to their performances as villains. One that stands out for me is Tilda Swinton in <em>Snowpiercer. </em>I honestly didn't recognize her at first, and I loved how detached from reality she was as Minister Mason.
