<em>The Last Of Us</em> season 2, episode 6 features the emotional porch scene, in which Joel and Ellie have a heart-to-heart conversation about forgiveness and the events surrounding the Fireflies. While it differs slightly from the conversation that is had in <em>The Last Of Us Part II </em>(mostly because Ellie learns the truth from Joel), it has a similar impact on the story. I love them both for different reasons, but honestly, the series version is my favorite. It could just be recency bias, as I have not played the game through since 2020, but also Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey give so much of themselves at that moment that it is impossible not to turn into a sobbing mess while watching - especially as a parent.
