It’s not unusual for actors to shift gears into directing. There are plenty of directors who even star in their own movies, like Bradley Cooper. Sofia Coppola is an example of someone who wasn’t successful as an actor, but who found her true calling as a director. On the other hand, Greta Gerwig is perhaps equally as talented as an actor and director. Though she’s focused mainly on directing since her solo debut <em>Lady Bird</em>, Gerwig delivered some great acting performances in the earlier years of her career. I’d like to see her return onscreen while also continuing to work behind the camera.<br>
