The past few years have proven to be some of the biggest of Kaitlyn Dever's career, finding widespread acclaim for her turns in Netflix's Unbelievable, which earned her a Golden Globe nomination, Hulu's Dopesick, which earned her both a Globe and Primetime Emmy nomination, and the sci-fi/horror movie No One Will Save You, while she has The Last of Us season 2's Abby and the Monsterverse on the horizon. With such a great range of roles already to her name, it's hard to narrow it down to just one performance, and I think it's actually a tie between No One Will Save You and the newly released Apple Cider Vinegar that stand out as my favorites of hers. The horror movie was nearly entirely silent, requiring her to imbue a lot of emotion solely into her face and physical performance, which she did excellently, while the Netflix series required a deft balance of a directly malevolent person, and a skilled manipulator.
