Musical biopics seem to be a dime a dozen these days, particularly around awards season. There are multiple currently in the works, including A Complete Unknown with Timothée Chalamet and Deliver Me From Nowhere with Jeremy Allen White. I think the best music biopic is Rocketman starring Taron Egerton as Elton John. It wasn’t a traditional biopic and Egerton gave a brilliant performance that deserved an Oscar nomination. Rocketman didn’t sugarcoat anything, and I learned a lot about Elton John while getting to enjoy the music. <br>
