The Last of Us season 2, episode 5, had quite a dark ending as Ellie mercilessly tortured Nora for information on where Abby is. Nora tried to argue that what Joel did — killing all the fireflies in the hospital and Abby's father among them — was wrong and he got what he deserved. Like Ellie, I also do not care about Joel's actions. Abby and her friends inflicted the same kind of pain on another group. Since Joel was her father figure, I felt Ellie was fully justified in brutally beating Nora for information.
