I understand that the <em>Sonic </em>movies are making changes from the game versions of these characters, but I'd like to avoid a direct Sonic-Amy romance as much as possible. I think having them flirt for the humor of it could be quite fun, but I don't think it would benefit the movie. The way the games have handled their romantic interactions in the past has always felt contrived, so if they're going to do it, I'd rather it be developed naturally over time.
