The release date for <em>Rick and Morty</em> season 8 has now been confirmed as May 25, meaning we have less than two months before the new installment. Season 7 ended in December 2023, so it will have been an incredible 17 months since a new episode when season 8 starts in May. Seeing as the show is getting more and more confusing with every season, I wonder if viewers who don't rewatch the entire thing beforehand will struggle to what's happening. However, there were over two years between seasons 3 and 4, so it might not be a problem.
