I haven't been this eager for a new episode of <em>Doctor Who</em> since Amy Pond went into labor. I cannot believe Carole Ann Ford has returned to <em>Doctor Who</em> on-screen as Susan. Although Susan has appeared in the modern era, it was all archival footage or stand-ins, so her return is a groundbreaking moment for <em>Doctor Who</em>. Ford is approaching 85 years old now, and the longer <em>Doctor Who</em> has gone on since coming back to screens in 2005, the more unlikely I thought it'd be that she'd ever come back. I can't wait to find out what happens next.
