There's just one week remaining until Red One's release, and despite the attachment of both Chris Evans and Dwayne Johnson to lead the Christmas action-comedy, early reviews have been largely negative for the film, with some praise going toward the action and effects, while most criticism is directed at the script. As such, the early box office projections have not been good either, with an opening projected gross of just $20-40 million domestically. Considering that's paired with a reported production budget of $250 million, and competition from Moana 2, Gladiator II and Wicked all in the same month, I think it's safe to say Red One will be a box office flop.
