12 years ago today, Disney purchased Lucasfilm and the <em>Star Wars </em>IP for just over $4 billion. While this has certainly led to some divisive projects in the years that have followed, I'm inclined to believe that the purchase was absolutely worthwhile, having provided a wealth of exciting and beloved projects like <em>Rogue One</em>,<em> The Mandalorian, </em><em>Ahsoka</em>, <em>Andor</em>, and a multitude of great animated projects, games, books, comics, and more.
