You season 5 has been released, ending the journey of Penn Badgley's Joe Goldberg. However, I was intrigued by how the show chose not to kill him, instead opting to have Joe stay in prison for the rest of his life. I think that leaves the door open for a potential You season 6 to revive the Netflix series in the future, maybe a decade from now, to show us an older Joe breaking out. That said, I don't think it will happen, as Badgley seems pretty happy to close the door on Joe Goldberg for good.
