Daniel Day-Lewis is coming out of retirement this year to star in Anemone, which is directed by his son, Ronan. The actor is also the movie's co-writer, and Anemone's story will explore "<em>Family bonds between fathers, sons, and brothers</em>," making it quite personal. Based on his three Oscar wins and how Day-Lewis can really tap into some dramatic material based on Anemone's synopsis, I believe that Daniel Day-Lewis will, at the very least, secure a Best Actor nomination for his movie return, and a win is very well within reach.
