The great god of thunder will grace the screen again in 2017 with will be ing Thor on his next big screen adventure.

Indeed, with the Nine Realms in danger, Thor will need every ally available at his side. However, despite the addition of the Hulk, it remains to be seen how involved Thor's longtime (and closest) allies will be in the plot for Ragnarok.

Actors Ray Stevenson and Zachary Levi, who played two of the Warriors Three in Thor: The Dark World (Volstagg and Fandral, respectively), both confirmed that they have not been ed by Marvel yet to return for Ragnarok. Ray Stevenson, who played Volstagg had this to say about his involvement, while speaking to IGN:

“I’ve heard that it’s on the cards. As far as Volstagg is concerned, should he be called with his other Warriors Three to protect young Thor again, within a heart’s beat he will be there. So, I am waiting to hear.”

Zachary Levi, who played Fandral, also confirmed he has not been cast yet in Thor: Ragnarok, but remained hopeful on the issue during an interview with CBR:

“As far as I know, they are still writing the script. Once that’s all buttoned down, I’m sure they will be making the phone call to whatever actors are involved. I hope I’m involved. I’d love to reprise Fandral. That was a fun experience, getting to be blonde, Asgardian and sounding British.”

Production on Thor: Ragnarok isn't slated to begin until June of 2016, so there's still plenty of time for Stevenson and Levi to receive their calls. As with all of the MCU actors, they are likely signed on for multi-picture deals, so we can safely expect them to return. It would be unthinkable for Thor to face a multi-dimensional apocalypse without the aid of his trusty Volstagg the Voluminous and Fandral the Dashing.
